Made for trijam 222

#Basic game outline

The game will be made up of a series of platforms constantly moving up and down. The goal of each level is to jump from platform to platform to find the one that leads to the maximum highest point. Falling to the ground is fatal, with limited lives available. The game is essentially endless, getting harder and harder until you die and are presented with your final result. If time allows we may add other difficulties such as monsters and trapped platforms.

  • [ ] One or two tutorial levels to acquaint the player with the game.
  • [ ] A time taken from beginning of level to end, as well as start of game to death.

  • [ ] Harder challenges, such as enemies on certain platforms as well as trap platforms etc
  • [ ] Snarky commentary from the demonlord who put you in this maze palace.
  • [ ] More of a story arc
  • [ ] Tts support
  • [ ] Different death sequences based on what killed you, spikes, barrel of sludge, etc.

#Final thoughts

This is being made for trijam 222, which has a double theme of you don't stand a chance and just get it overwith. This could fit in, especially if we include some basic commentary from the player/demonlord about having no chance to escape the maze (which is technically true, since the game is endless) and the player saying ok, let's get this over with or some such.
